城市把人围合住，人和城市的关系既爱既恨，这种纠缠不清的关系让城市和人都发生了变化，每座建筑里的人，都在思考自己，每个人在建筑里面留下自己的痕迹，时间久了，建筑感染人的思考，也开始思考自己，直到有一天睁开眼睛，第一次看这座城，而人类毫无察觉。
现代化的城市已经成为一个个超级合体，城市的丰富与多元，撕裂了每个人的时间和精力，生命的进程更加碎片化，密度也更大，个体成为城市的构件，，被浇筑为一体。城市需要人运转，人依赖城市生存。于是混凝土这种最常见、最普通的人工合成材料，与城市不同人群内心丰饶的形象，进行混合，叠加出焦虑、彷徨、喜悦、孤独、忧郁、失败、期许、浪漫、奋斗的城市住民灵魂画像。
